Summary
Alvin Ananthan started Goldfish Studios 7 years ago with a burning passion to educate and help his students grow. We aren't talking about 'hitting the books' kind of education, because Alvin knows that learning is more than just grades and papers. We are talking about REAL learning, learning that goes much further in life and makes a difference in the world. It's about making a real change in his students' lives and helping them discover their hidden potential. That's what education should be about.

Background
Alvin is a passionate educator who has been working in the training and curriculum development field for the past fifteen years. He has conducted hundreds of workshops and touched thousands of lives, having taught a diverse audience from secondary school students to corporate clients. The feedback from participants for his workshops have been overwhelmingly positive.
Workshops
Alvin is especially good at crafting programs that are engaging and relevant; a typical workshop for him usually consists of 20% content delivery and 80% participants engaging in a meaningful activity. His strong facilitation skills enable him to create a safe space where both young and adult learners are free to share and contribute to the discussion, leading to a higher quality of learning.

Notable Memory
Some of Alvin’s more notable workshops have been for Civil Servants, LTA Change Agents, MINDEF officers, NYP lecturers and ITE educators. One of his most exciting workshops so far was a LEGO Serious Play workshop for a group of 15 South African middle managers and C-level executives who had come down to Singapore to study the transport system. During the workshop, Alvin helped to facilitate and collate their learning as they explored potential solutions to resolve transport issues that they faced back in South Africa.

Hobbies
When he is not teaching, Alvin is passionate about creating music as he has been active in the music scene since he was a teenager. He is also a keen advocate of constantly learning new things. He has recently been working on learning how to surf, which he enjoys greatly!
